About Meredith
I am Meredith Cross, The Business Tailor.
I help women turn owner-dependent businesses into businesses with clearer processes, stronger accountability, better-connected tools, and operations that fit their goals.

My story
I’ve spent my career building things that didn’t exist yet.
I’m a female entrepreneur with more than 15 years of experience across sales, management, and executive leadership. Again and again, I found myself as the first person in a role.
- First dietitian at Longhorn Health Solutions
- First Senior Clinical Liaison at Epic Health Services
- First Vice President of Sales for Aveanna Medical Solutions
Being first means there’s no playbook. In each of those roles I had to build, test, adjust, nurture, and execute sales operations, while helping define what the role itself should be. I learned that good operations aren’t theory. They’re built in the real work, refined with the people doing it, and kept only if they actually fit.
I also helped build out the Salesforce Denver hub. After leaving corporate America, I built Elevation Health, a separate business I co-own. Building a GLP-1 and peptide company combining lifestyle and nutrition support taught me firsthand how to create processes, learn what worked and adjust what didn’t.
I am a registered dietitian with a master’s in exercise physiology. That background makes me attentive to health, personal capacity and demanding work; it does not turn operations consulting into medical treatment.
My greatest strength was building the business. I could multiply it by helping other women build theirs.
Building the business revealed my greatest contribution: creating foundations that help businesses work. Sharing my skills with other founders multiplies their value. Helping a larger vision forward is fulfilling—even when my part is only one piece.
That is what I bring to The Operations Glow-Up: understand the woman leading the business, then improve how the business operates. Elevation Health services are not automatically included or required.

How I work
Practical, hands-on, and fitted to you.
Building functions from scratch taught me to start with what’s really happening, agree what “better” means, and then do the work alongside the team until the new way holds.
That’s the heart of The Operations Glow-Up: consulting and implementation, tailored.
A founder perspective
The Executive Health Paradox
The work that asks you to perform at your best can also make it harder to feel and function at your best. Business demands can affect well-being; personal capacity can affect the experience of leading. This is a reason to consider both—not blame or financial promises. Elevation Health services remain separate and optional.
Founder first. Operations, tailored.
The way your business runs should fit the business you have built—and the life you want to lead.
Let’s start with what you want from the business and what needs to change in the way it works.
